Africa-Malawi,
In 2013 I had the great oportunity to travel to Malawi and meet Maladitso, the child I sponsor. Actually, the story began when I signed the sponsor agreement and I told myself: "Someday I want to visit him, I want to see how they manage to live there and see how my money is helping them" and "voilà" my dream became true, few years later I was in Malawi with them, doing a educational project and immersing in their culture, their lifestyle, learning from them...
Once I was there, I felt that journey created a strong commitment to them inside me, but I wasn't sure what to do with this feeling... Until the last day of my journey. We met in the office of ActionAid in Malawi, NGO where I sponsor Maladitso, to share the experience of the journey, when the meeting was reaching the end, I ask Jean(my contact in Malawi and employee of ActionAid) how could we keep in touch, well... things you do when you farewell someone,(I have to say my English is not as good as I would like and thanks to that I recived an answer that was totally different from what I mean to ask) She answer me with a lot of information about a water borehole, I was so shocked that I didn't know what to say and when I return to the hotel I knew what to do, my mission was to finance the creation of a water borehole. And here I am, asking for help, to materialize that water borehole. Please help me archive that.
My story: My name is Beatriz, I work in University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, I am student of Pedagogy in the UNED and partner of ActionAid and thanks to this three things I could get my dream come true.
