Our main goals are improving every day to keep up with a competitive level (at home and abroad), spread quidditch everywhere and, for sure, have a nice time practising this maverlous young sport.
For the time being, we are proud to say that we are the current champions in our country after a hard championship and in the near-future we want make a space for ourselves between the best teams in Europe.
Quidditch is a non-traditional sport where 2 teams of 7 players play mounted on PVC "brooms". It's played on a pitch similar to a hockey one, rectangular with to semicircles in the short sides. The goals are 3 hoops in each side and it's played with 5 balls: A quaffle, 3 bludgers and a snitch, which hangs in the bottom of the back of a snitch runner.
Each of these 7 players has a different role in the game:
Each goal scored equals 10 points and catching the snitch equals 30 points. The objective is to have more points than the other team when the snitch gets caught, moment when the game finishes.
In short, it's a contact sport that involves speed, reflexes and dexterity that is played around the world, growing day by day, in spite of its youth.
