Elche Juega is an event dedicated to video games world, held annually in the city of Elche, and whose objectives are to offer an alternative healthy leisure for young people and bring gaming to all citizens, regardless of sex or age because video games are culture.

Organized by GAMELX Association, a non profit association, in 2015 will be held the 4th edition of the event, jumping from provincial to the national level, so we want to bring people related to the world of video games known by a large audience and providing dynamism and freshness to the rest of activities to be carried out.

In that event take place different activities, which could be divided into 6 types:

Conferences: We bring guests specialized in the field to give lectures, participate in panel discussions, debates and even podcasts live, especially for fans of these people and for those who like to listen and learn, to enjoy information and content of great interest, of highly-experienced people.

Tournaments: If the event is game can not forget the main activity is to play. Different tournaments, different subjects, with prizes for the winners are made.

Free Game: Also we enable areas in which to play without being forced to compete or bring your own stuff, just please enjoy.

Retro Zone: The area dedicated to consoles and old machines this year increases in supply, and an exhibition include consoles to play, slot machines and bartops with which to enjoy the classic games with ease.

Cosplay: It has been done since the first edition and like every year more and more people involved. The cosplay contest (Advanced costumes) of video game characters have as a juror in a professional cosplayer Luna Lanie, who also made a small display.

Shopping Area: In this type of event can not miss shops that provide materials to visitors, both useful and collectibles, brightening the room and allowing relax with a walk between stands.

Besides these activities have games and workshops for children, food and drink and whatever else comes to mind.

We got in contact with Luna to invite you to come and was very excited from the beginning to learn that we were doing the event for the youth of our country, and all they told us was that us help with transportation and accommodation, we did everything as possible and we had no resources proposed creating a crowdfunding campaign to achieve that objective. Therefore we developed this campaign to cover transport costs from Atlanta to Madrid and Madrid to Alicante, for her and her manager as well as hotel accommodation in our city.
