QUIÉN SOY

Me llamo Jorge Pardo y durante toda mi vida he sido compositor e instrumentista (Flauta y Saxo). He tenido grandes maestros, tanto en el Jazz como en el Flamenco: Camarón, Paco de Lucía, Chick Corea, entre otros muchos. Desde hace ya unos años, junto a algunos compañeros de generación, empezamos a expresarnos musicalmente con ritmos flamencos e influencias del Jazz, el Rock, o la música clásica, creando así una amalgama sonora, la cual recibe hoy el nombre de FlamencoJazz.


MI PROPÓSITO

Hacer posible que el proyecto "Huellas" crezca hasta alcanzar dimensiones XL. Para ello, es necesario que realicemos arreglos orquestales, así como ensayos con la Original Jazz Orquesta del Taller de Musics (Big Band) en Barcelona, para su posterior interpretación en Etnosur (Alcalá la Real-Jaen) el 19 de Julio. ¡Estáis todos invitados!

Queremos grabar un audio y video de calidad, mezclarlo, masterizarlo, editarlo, preparar los envíos y enviártelos. Publicar un libro en el que queden reflejadas las partituras que conforman nuestra obra musical -tanto en e-book como en edición física- y, por último, difundir el repertorio de "Huellas" a las Big Band y escuelas de música de todo el mundo. ¿El propósito? Promover nuestro arte y contagiar a todos de lo mismo.


OBJETIVOS DE RECAUDACIÓN

- Costear el trabajo de los arreglistas orquestales: Vince Mendoza, Gil GoldStein y Diego Guerrero.
- Realizar ensayos con los músicos de la Original Jazz Orquesta a principios del mes de Julio (hablamos de alrededor de 30 personas).
- Contratar un equipo de grabación de audio y video y de personal técnico para la grabación del concierto.
- Hacer frente a los costes de mezcla de audio, mastering, edición de video y finalización.
- Fabricar la EDICIÓN EXCLUSIVA MECENAS LÁNZANOS consistente en: CDS, DVDS y 100 CDS serie económica.
- Producir el libro de partituras, diseños, maquinación y e-book.
- Enviar discos a los mecenas, gestión plataforma descargas prioritarias.
- Envíos, tanto digitales como postales, de la música a Big Band y Escuelas de música alrededor del mundo.


EN QUÉ PUNTO SE ENCUENTRA EL PROYECTO

De entre todas las canciones que componen "Huellas", he elegido un total de 10. ¡Ya están en marcha los arreglos orquestales de las mismas! ¡Ya contamos con la banda, junto a una suma aproximada de 30 músicos! ¡Y ya hemos avanzado en los preparativos técnicos requeridos para la grabación del día 19/07/13 en Etnosur!

- FEBRERO: Campaña Crowd.
- MARZO-ABRIL-MAYO: Arreglos orquestales.
- JUNIO: Ensayos.
- JULIO: Actuación Etnosur.
- AGOSTO: Revisión del material, diseños, mezclas, montaje.
- SEPTIEMBRE: Fabricación ----DESCARGA ANTICIPADA----.
- OCTUBRE-NOVIEMBRE: Envíos Material (antes de la salida a la venta, siempre).


POR QUÉ SACAR ADELANTE MI PROYECTO VÍA CROWDFUNDING

Pese a no ser un músico demasiado popular en el ámbito internáutico, utilizar este tipo de plataformas online coincide con mi filosofía e inquietudes: lo interesante de la relación directa entre creador-público, sin intermediarios, con la responsabilidad conjunta de que el proyecto se lleve acabo; lo estimulante de arrancar una nueva aventura musical, con la posibilidad de tener un apoyo inicial no solo económico, sino también humano; el deseo de seguir creando libremente para los que realmente agradecen y valoran mis creaciones, al margen de los conductos y filtros industriales, con todo lo que ello implica; el caminar haciendo camino, con otras pautas, con otros ritmos, y experimentar con libertad otras formas de crear.

Sin duda, el hecho de financiar "Huellas" mediante crowdfunding se ha convertido en todo una prueba. Prueba que, si marcha tal y como me gustaría, gracias a los apoyos de los mecenas, se verá traducida en un trabajo exquisito que, además de dar que hablar, dotará de cierto aire esperanzador al difícil momento que, en la actualidad, está atravesando la cultura, estoy convencido.

WHO I AM

My name is Jorge Pardo and for all my life I have been a composer and musician (Saxo and Flute). I have had great Jazz & Flamenco Teachers like: Camarón, PAco de Lucia, Chick Corea, etc.
Over the years, along with some life partners, we expressed ourselves musically with a fusion of flamenco rhythm with influence from Jazz, Rock and Classical music, creating a new sound which is known today as Flamenco Jazz.


MY OBJECTIVE

To make it possible for the project "Huellas" to grow reaching XL dimensions.
For this, we will have to carry out orchestral arrangements, as well as rehearsals with the Original Jazz Orchestrate of the Shop of Music (Big Band) in Barcelona, for their later interpretation in Etnosur (Alcalá La Real-Jaen) the 19 of July. You are all invited!!
We want to record quality audio and video, enhancing by mixing and mastering, to then edit and prepare for postage and delivery direct to your door.
To publish a book which contains the sheet music of our musical work - in E-book version as in physical edition and finally to distribute the repertoire of "Huellas" to the Big Band and music schools from all over the world. The purpose of all this? To spread and promote our art and get everybody hooked with it!


FUND-RAISING AIMS

- To cover the cost of the work by orchestral performers: Vince Mendoza, Gil Goldstein and Diego Guerrero.
- Carry out tests with the musicians of the Original Jazz Orchestra at the beginning of the month of July (we are talking about 30 people).
- Hiring a team of audio/video recording and technical personnel for the recording of the concert.
- To cover the costs of audio mixing, mastering, video editing and completion.
- Create the " EDICION EXCLUSIVA MECENAS LANZANOS" consisting in C.D's, DVD's and 100 CD's economic series.
- Produce and design the Sheet Music Book and E-book.
- Distribute to patrons and download platforms.
- Postal and digital distributuion to music schools all over the world and Big Band.


WHAT POINT IS THE PROJECT AT

Among all the songs that are included in "Footprints", I have chosen a total of 10.
The orchestral arrangements are already in process!
Now we have the band, together with approximately 30 musicians!
And we have already made progress in the technical preparations required for the recording on the day 19/07/13 in Etnosur!

WHY ARE WE USING CROWDFUNDING FOR THIS PROJECT

Despite not being a musician that is very popular in the Internet field, using this type of online platforms coincides with my philosophy and ideas:
The interesting thing is the direct relationship between creator-public, without intermediaries, with the responsibility that the project is carried out; the stimulating of starting a new Music Adventure, with the possibility of having an initial support not only economic, but also human.
The desire to continue creating freely for those who really appreciate and value my creations, aside from the ducts and industrial filters, with all that this implies; walking the walk, with other patterns, with other rhythms, and experiment with freedom to create.
The fact of financing Footprints through Crowdfunding has become like a Test.
A Test which, if it all goes on as I would like, thanks to the support of patrons, this will be transformed into an exquisite piece of work that will provide some hope in a difficult situation, that culture is going through at the moment.
