WHO I AM
Hello, my name is Jacobo Sánchez. El orador BLUFF is the name of my musical project. I’ve made songs since I started playing the guitar. I've got ancient recordings where a single chord can’t be distinguished. I've belonged to several bands (Personfrom Porlock, Winter Palace, Emerald & the Yeties, Me & the Martians) that disappeared just when things started to get interesting.
After a few years, I’m trying to push through a handful of songs planted here and there that have accompanied me and do not deserve to fall by the wayside. I had to rescue them, update them and record them in good conditions. In the end, I've bet for Spanish language and I think these songs have gained intensity; they have now more soul and a different brightness.
El orador BLUFF is born as a personal project, in which other musicians will occasionally collaborate, also in order to grow and become in a band in a short term, one orador with several heads.
WHAT I WANT TO DO
- To record my first album of original songs in the Carlos Zaba's studio (Toledo). He is the responsible of recording, producing, mixing and mastering and he also participates as bass player. There will also be other great musicians with me as Amable Rodriguez (Jero Romero, Lujamen Brothers, Virginia Labuat ...), Daniel Romero (Funkdición Daniel Romero) and Ritxi Fish (Dos Incautos).
- Then edit and publish under Nueva Monarquía's wing (www.nuevamonarquia.com).
In addition, the cartoonist and illustrator Esteban Hernandez (www.estebanhernandez.net) will take over the design for the physical edition of the album.

WHY CROWDFUNDING
Recording a solo album without having a lot of experience or a recognised career is really complicated. If it also implies such a large investment to cope without support, it definitely becomes crazy. After an initial period of more than understandable doubts, I decided to throw myself and stand up to what I really want to do: get this project in the only possible way. So far there have been several obstacles, but, why not going to the end?
This system creates a special relationship between the creator and his audience, it enables the potential audience of El orador BLUFF (family, friends, friends of friends, treasure hunters...) can push this project thanks to the feedback that is created between them. Public is involved and is committed in a very different way than we were used until now.

WHERE MONEY WILL SET ASIDE
Your contributions will set aside to:
- Recording, mixing, producing and mastering.
- A present or reward for musicians.
- Graphic design of the album.
- CD release.
- Rewards for sponsors and derivative expenses.
* If the initial target is exceeded and the amount is enough, it will go to mastering by specialized technicians. Otherwise, it will go to other expenses arising from the promotion of the album.
AT WHAT POINT THE PROJECT IS
Of all the songs I've written so far, I preselected fourteen at first, I finally chose twelve for preproduction, a perfect number. We started to record the demos of the songs in the studio in October 2014 and we have worked intermittently until the beginning of this year.
My idea is that all of you, sponsors, can have the album into your hands around the arrival of autumn.
