¿QUIEN SOY/ WHO AM I?
Soy Juan Pablo Di Pace, actor, cantante y bailarín, y este año he producido un espectáculo unipersonal llamado PRIMER ACTO. Nuestros comienzos fueron en un café-teatro de Madrid llamado SE ABRE EL TELÓN CABARET, (80 localidades); luego pasamos por la famosa sala CLAMORES JAZZ (150 espectadores) y el pasado mes de septiembre aterrizamos en el teatro ARENAL de Madrid, (más de 500 espectadores en solo tres funciones). PRIMER ACTO sigue creciendo y en los próximos meses se programará en un teatro más grande en el centro de Madrid. Para festejarlo me gustaría grabar un CD con las canciones del espectáculo.
My name is Juan Pablo Di Pace, I'm an actor, singer, dancer - this year I put together a show called ACT ONE. Our beginnings were in a cabaret theatre and two venues later we are about to open in a prestigious theatre in the centre of Madrid. We have plans to travel to Brussels, London and New York. ACT ONE keeps growing and for that I want to release the show's album.
¿QUÉ QUIERO HACER / WHAT DO I WANT TO DO?
Desde la primer función de PRIMER ACTO, muchos espectadores han pedido comprar el disco del espectáculo, y como aun no hemos recuperado un duro por el espectáculo, me gustaría invitados a realizar este CD conmigo. Las canciones son de autores maravillosos como Astor Piazzolla, Kander & Ebb, Joaquín Sabina, Stephen Sondheim y los Bee Gees entre otros. Además, con la genialidad de Aday Rodriguez al piano sería un delito no grabarlo!
From the very first ACT ONE performance, people have asked me to release the album and since we have not yet recouped production costs for the show, I would like to involve you in the making of this CD. The songs are by brilliant composers like Kander & Ebb, Stephen Sondheim, the Bee Gees and Astor Piazzolla among others. WE have the brilliantly talented Aday Rodriguez on the piano too!
¿DONDE IRÁ DESTINADO EL DINERO / WHAT IS THE MONEY FOR?
Lo recaudado irá a los gastos de grabación, masterización y mezcla del cd; impresión de 500 cds, diseño del cd y gastos por derechos de autor para grabar las canciones.
The money will go into recording studio cost, production of the CDs, design of the labels, and rights for recording the songs. We will make 500 initial copies of the album.
¿PORQUÉ CROWDFUNDING / WHY CROWDFUNDING?
Ya que PRIMER ACTO nació de la ilusión de un pequeño grupo de personas con sueños grandes, queremos continuar nuestro camino del modo más natural posible. En el público está el milagro de que PRIMER ACTO haya crecido a pasos agigantados, y por esto queremos invitarlos a formar parte del futuro de este espectáculo: EL DISCO.
ACT ONE was created by a tiny group of people with big dreams, and we would like to continue this journey in the most natural way. It is thanks to the audience that ACT ONE has taken massive steps already, and that is why we want to invite you to be part of the future of the show: THE ALBUM
