A writer and filmmaker, with more than 20 years of experience in production and audiovisual realization, Carlos produces, writes and leads tele-series, documentaries, radio novels, and social advertisement, with whom he has won national and international awards. He has worked in Peruvian movies as production assistant, (“Paraiso”,”El viaje Macho”), and as consulting producer and screenwriter (“Ambición Fatal”, “Celeste y el pequeño sajino.”) He’s one of the founders of the AMAZONIAN FILM SCHOOL, created 3 years ago in Pucallpa. More than 100 young producers and Amazonian filmmakers have been trained till now. With his company CAYUMBA CINE, he’s developing his own feature film projects in the Ucayali region, such as “Shicshi Rabo” and “Yacuruna” short films. “MAPACHO” is his opera prima.
