HéCTOR, cortometraje que dirigirá Castro, coproducido por Almita Films y Mango Lassi, formada por Vibha DM y Mario Carbajosa, y en el que participan los actores Milo Taboada, Joan Sureda y Adela Silvestre. Con su rodaje previsto para finales del mes de abril, la historia nos introduce, en primera persona,en el día que Víctor es diagnosticado con el virus del VIH y en la noche que compartirá con HéCTOR, su amante, entre las cuatro paredes de una habitación y que cambiará para siempre la historia entre los dos. Ambos tendrán que enfrentarse a los silencios, a las palabras y a los límites de su relación.
CASTRO,director. Nacido en A Coruña, ha vivido de forma errante en diferentes ciudades del mundo. En Londres, estudia psicología y se licencia en estudios cinematográficos, más tarde.
"Danae´s Lovers", fué su primera incursión cinematográfica importante, aunque anteriormente trabajaría en numerosos proyectos visuales y de gran fuerza poética. Actualmente, también prepara su primer libro de poesía y acaba de terminar el guión de su primer largo, "Scopophilia".
Castro, posee un particular estilo visual lleno de referencias pictóricas clásicas, imaginería religiosa, a pesar de su ateísmo y con un fuerte componente sensual. Todo esto, dotará al film de la potencia necesaria para llegar al espectador y meterlo de lleno en su mundo, nada agradable por momentos, pero al mismo tiempo atractivo y magnético.
Héctor y Víctor, los dos protagonistas de la historia, estarán interpretados por Milo Taboada (Víctor) y Joan Sureda (Héctor). Con amplia experiencia en el mundo del teatro, el cine y la televisión, ambos actores tendrán que plasmar la intimidad y las emociones de unos personajes puestos en una situación extremadamente compleja y bucear en unos roles llenos de contradicciones. Todo un reto.
Milo Taboada nace en A Coruña y empieza sus estudios teatrales en Galicia, a los dieciséis años, de la mano de Manuel Lourenzo, premio nacional de Teatro, pasando a formar parte de su compañía. Posteriormente se traslada a Madrid en donde estudia con maestros como Cristina Rota, Macarena Pombo o Fernado Piernas,entre otros.
En cine trabaja en películas como "El Laberinto del Fauno", de Guillermo del Toro o "Somos Gente Honrada",dirigida por Alejandro Marzoa. En televisión productos como "Cuéntame", "Amar es para Siempre", "Libro de Familia" o la exitosa serie gallega "Matalobos", premio Circom 2012 a la mejor serie europea y en la que interpretaría a Cartelle, personaje que le daría grandes alegrías.
Actualmente reside en Barcelona en donde ha seguido su formación con gente como Txiki Berraondo o Luci Lenox y trabajando en otros formatos audiovisuales.
Joan Sureda nace en Barcelona y se forma como actor en el Estudio de actores Nancy Tuñón, dejando atrás sus estudios de arquitectura. Empieza su trayectoria profesional con la compañía Apunta Teatre en sus tres primeros montajes y en teatro ha trabajado con directores como Lluís Pasqual (El Rey Lear, Teatre Lliure 2015), Hermann Bonnín (La Dama de las Camelias, 2014), Marc Montserrat Drukker (La Ola, Teatre Lliure 2013), Jordi Casanovas (Auca del Born, 2013), Neil LaBute (Desig-Jam, 2012) o Àlex Rigola (Havanera: Argelès-sur-mer, 2011).
En audiovisual es más conocido por su personaje de Eduard en la popular serie de televisión catalana La Riera, y ha participado también en numerosos cortometrajes. Sus últimos trabajos han sido el Elígeme de Carlos Muñoz, No et tiris, encara de Marta Gastón.
Actualmente forma parte del elenco barcelonés de la obra Amores Minúsculos, de Iñaki Nieto, en el Teatre Club Capitol.

With filming scheduled for the end of April, the story introduces us, in first person, on the day that Victor is diagnosed with the HIV virus and night to share with HéCTOR, his lover, between the four walls of a room and that will forever change the history between the two.
